Dr. Erin Cáceres has invited every Hume-Fogg family to join ParentSquare, the school’s new communication platform. The invitations went out via email on Monday, August 3, to whatever email address the school has on file for you.
Activating takes about a minute. Open the invitation and click the activation button — that creates your account and, at the same time, confirms the school has your contact information right.
If what it shows you is out of date — a new phone number, an old email address — the correction happens in Campus Portal, not in ParentSquare itself.
If no invitation arrived
Call the school at 615-291-6300. An invitation that never showed up usually signals a need to update your contact information.
Remind is not going away (yet)
Hume-Fogg is one of a small group of Metro schools on ParentSquare this year. If you have another child at a different Metro school, that school may still be using Remind, so for a while some families will be running both.
